What we Loved

Merid and Magna are beautifully restored historic schoolhouses surrounded by the wide open Saskatchewan prairies. We loved the quiet setting, incredible sunsets, and the story behind the properties. Meeting owners Kathy and Keith and learning how they brought these schoolhouses back to life made the stay very special. We were also welcomed with a charcuterie board and homemade cookies and milk, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Things to Know

The schoolhouses are in rural Saskatchewan, so we recommend picking up groceries and supplies before arriving. The peaceful location is a big part of the experience, with stunning prairie views and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
